Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What protections do customers have when using your online shop and checkout?

Check if a site's connection is secure

To learn if a website is safe to visit, you can check for security info about the site. Chrome will alert you if you can’t visit the site safely or privately.

  1. In Chrome, open a web page.
  2. To check a site's security, to the left of the web address, check the security status symbol:
    • Lock Secure
    • View site information Info or Not secure
    • Dangerous Not secure or Dangerous
  3. To find a summary of the site's privacy details and permissions, select the security symbol.

What each security symbol means

These symbols say how safe it is to visit and use a site. They tell you if a site has a security certificate, if Chrome trusts that certificate, and if Chrome has a private connection with a site.

As you can see from your browser, www.viasacra.shop displays the Lock symbol.

2. Are your products ethically sourced?

Yes, Via Sacra's product managers have researched our supply chain to the fullest possible extent. We only deal with crystal mines, providers and suppliers that have a strong ethical policy in place, which avoid the use of child labour and operate a fair trade policy.

We are also strongly against testing products on animals and none of the candles, oils or other products we sell have been tested on animals. We also ensure that all products we source come from sustainable supplies.

3. Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes, all of the packaging we buy is 100% recyclable to ensure our impact on the environment in getting our products to you is as minimal as possible.

We also reuse any packaging that we receive from our suppliers so please do not be offended if some of the packaging your products arrive in appears to have been used before - this is most probably because it has!

We do not throw away any of the packaging that we receive if it is possible to reuse it. This sometimes means that internal packing, e.g., bubble wrap, is slightly torn but we think it is better to reuse whatever we possibly can as many times as we can to reduce our environmental impact.
